Walt could tell Hank that he was being blackmailed to cook meth for the Gus / the cartel. :)

The last 10 minutes or so of this are near perfection. How long is Chandra gonna continue to live the Gus is a good guy delusion? 😆..tune in next week to find out. Same BB time, same BB place.

If I was Walt I would have turned Skylar over to the mafia and let them finish her off. I hate Skylar and I wished for her death from the moment she cheated on Walt. He may have kept his secrets but he only did it to try and provide for his family once he was gone. She cheated for no other reason but that she wanted to. Death to Skylar was my motto after season season 3.

The post-episode discussions about Gus are my favorite thing on this channel. Watching Jordan's face break when Chandra rides for Gus just absolutely cracks me up. Gus is a great character to watch, and there's still plenty of content to make up or change your minds. :]

The kill the family thing was also if he interfered with Gus taking out Hank, so in order to be able to give Hank/the DEA a heads up Walt had to get the family away.

No show does tension/panic scenes better than BB. The sound design at the end... that screeching noise... the whole scene is pure, concentrated unnerving anxiety. The dynamic is so remarkable of all the characters clashing at once and Skyler- going from playing peacekeeper for Walt to Marie on the phone. She's like a punching bag getting hit with all of it at once. Walt's laugh makes total sense with the situation he's in. High school chemistry teacher gets cancer, cooks meth then his wife uses the money he made from it and gives it to the man she had an affair with? Many times throughout the show the characters are boxed in in shots by either a door frame or window frame etc. divided by beams or trapped in picture frames. The symbolism in that final shot of Walt laying in the dirt underground- boxed in by the door to the crawl space that he built himself, as if it's saying he’s dug his own grave and he's a dead man walking.
