Don't wanna wait for the ScriptHookV update?
Added 2023-12-15 00:12:13 +0000 UTCYou can downgrade your GTA V back to 3028 if you own a Steam version. This is what I did to keep working on the mod.
This is how:
- Back up all of your .exe files located in the GTA V directory
- Back up "update" folder (50+ GB)
IMPORTANT:
World Health Organization (WHO) warns: Losing mods you accumulated over the years can cause severe depression.
Please do not skip this step. You will need to put these files back when ScriptHookV update comes.
After you are done with the back up:
- Press Win+R and type steam://open/console
- Type: download_depot 271590 271591 5706962312953127803 and press enter to download 3028 executables, shouldn't take long
- Type: download_depot 271590 271594 7259497167106792192 and press enter, this will download the 3028 "update" folder (50+ GB)
- Replace your .exe files and your "update" folder in GTA V directory with the ones you downloaded
Enjoy!
(Replacing .exe files only is not enough, the game will crash on loading. Sadly you'll have to wait for the 50GB download to finish. My internet sucks too, I know how it feels. Stay strong king ๐).
