These are the "rejects", so they don't work. But boy do they look good. He also brought me many rare HP manuals that I had been looking for. Thanks John!

I’m not exactly sure. He has some powerful vintage radio equipment reconverted for am radio use. He also tests them as a professional service I think. I need to go visit him to answer the question.
