Building a case for the Mini-PET

I am not that good at crafting/building, but when I thought about the 'non filled' spaces, the idea came that it might look best just to cut a completely rectangular hole in the case, and then 3D print a frame that would fit into that rectangular hole, surrounding the keys and mount flush with the case. Maybe that was your and Chrises original idea. Your custom made PET keyboard (with numeric keyboard) is really PET-cool though, something that would not be the same with a keyboard designed to fit in the cuts of an original C64 case.
