behind the scenes of "The Commodore Story"

"The Commodore Story" came to Kennedale, Texas this morning to film me and Anders Jensen as part of their tour across much of the world. My little studio room was full of unusual and expensive gear.  This is a little behind the scenes clip my daughter took as they were doing a test run of the gear before we started the interview.  I thought you guys might like to see it.  The documentary is supposed to premiere this December.

This is awesome! I never saw what your studio looked like when filming. I'm looking forward to this documentary.

Ohhhhhh -- I thought it was some sort of cable-TV kind of thing, like the History Channel or the Discovery channel or something. Either way -- I'm definitely looking forward to it.

yeah, I will let you know. At the moment all they told me was it was going to premiere in a theater in London in December and would then be available on some sort of streaming media. So I'm not sure if that will be Netflix, Amazon, or what..

You will let us know what channel it will air on, and the date it begins, yes? I mean, when you find out for sure? Because this definitely looks like something I don't want to miss.

Very cool to see you're a part of this!

Cool 👍

I'm gonna be waiting for this one.

it actually looks exactly like that, except the boom mic, light stand, and various cameras on tripods.

The 8-Bit Guy

yes, the stuff on the walls has always been there, but it is normally out of view from the camera.

The 8-Bit Guy

I'm curious as well. That's a lot of egg crate foam for sound deadening. Is that always in your studio?

Can we see a comparison of what your studio normally looks like?

Neat!

Thanks to the 8-bit Gal for recording this behind the scenes. Are the white drapes part of your normal set up or was that part of the camera crew?
