Perks, rewards, etc.

Hey guys!  I really appreciate your support of my channels.  A lot of people have asked about perks.  I guess I'm weird.  I have supported a few dozen kickstarter campaigns and I always choose NOT to request any perks. After all, I want all of the money I donated to go towards the production of the project I'm supporting.  As such I didn't create any perks for my Patreon either.  I know I haven't really posted much here.  I feel like any time I spend here creating perks, posts, or videos just takes away from my time creating the stuff you really want to see.

However, I wanted to ask your opinion on some ideas.  Being that a typical video production takes me 20 to 40 hours to produce, I haven't been able to justify creating  "patreon only" productions.   However, I've had a few people mention just creating some "VLOG" or other lower-quality videos.  Basically those would be videos typically shot with just one or two cuts, not a lot of editing, no music, etc.  There are things that sometimes I could show that aren't worth making a full episode about, but I wouldn't mind shooting a few minutes and talking about something like that.  Is that the kind of thing you guys would be interested in seeing as "patreon only" videos?  One suggestion I had from somebody was to do a tour of my studio - you could see all the parts that normally aren't shown during  a regular episode.

Also, would there be any advantage to showing production videos early to patrons? And how early?  For example, sometimes I render and upload videos when they are perhaps only 80% complete and show them to a select few people to ask for opinions on things before completing the episode.  Would there be any interest from you guys in seeing that sort of thing?

Also, I know most of you are just donating $1 or $2 a month.  But for those donating more, what kind of "gift" do you think would be appropriate?  Basically, something you could display on your desk or hang on your wall or something to show you supported my channel?

Last thing  I wanted to ask.  I would sort of like to see a breakdown of how many people here are supporting 8-Bit Guy vs. 8-Bit Keys, or both?  That way I will know better which sort of content to focus on here.

I look forward to reading your responses!

Hi! Like the other guys, I am not looking for perks, neither. I want to support you because I can see the admiration of retro electronics and that you have a technical understandig which, and that is somehow crucial to me, you are able to transfer. I am a fan of quality over quantity, so from my point of view it is ok that you just make just so many videos as you have time for. I definitely prefer if you will keep up the quality of your content.
