With the sudden surge of demand for medical care in the field, most medical ninjas have to work overtime just to get the bare minimum fighting force ready for the next day. Sakura was not one to easily back down and accepted her role as the sole medic for several different teams. She would heal her comrades during the day and boost their morale at night; a very effective way of nourishing her male teammates to full strength, surpassing all other medics' abilities. No one else but her "patients" knew her secret, and Sakura enjoyed the company each night.
