Addie, i love that u did this one. Dark Shadows is one of my favorite soaps and a fun movie. Tim Burton has his own unique style with his films, and this one was mostly played for laughs. I'm glad you enjoyed it, but if it was missing anything, u should go to tubi and catch some of the soap. It also has a documentary called Master of Dark Shadows and another on Jonathan Frid, who played the original Barnabas. Burton was the perfect person to do this, but if it had been done in a darker way and was a little longer, it would've given u a better insight into wat the soap was like, imo. I'm 56, so i watched the reruns. i remember watching it on my days off when i was married. Minus the witchcraft, she was my Angelique, unfortunately. The show also had time travel in it and use the same actors in those stories too. In the show, when Barnabas becomes a vampire, he asks his father to end him with a silver bullet , but Joshua couldn't do that to his son, so instead, he chained him up in the coffin and put him in the family mausoleum. Dark shadows is a tale of tragedy the deeper i go down the rabbit hole with this one. The only thing preventing me from getting the complete series is that it costs $400, Well, ttfn, Happy Thanksgiving!
