I don't think this is one of my favorite comedies of all time, but it was fun to see Chevy Chase and Bill Murray in another movie! The gopher might have been my favorite character hahaha. Enjoy!

There’s an interesting comedy about Doug Kenney, the writer of Caddyshack, called A Futile and Stupid Gesture. Not sure you need to watch it for the channel, but it’s worth checking out

2025-12-01 11:00:49 +0000 UTCYes. Bill Murray and Chevy Chase had tensions between them that began when Chevy Chase returned to Saturday Night Live after leaving. Bill Murry was originally brought on to fill Chevy Chase's spot. When Chevy Chase returned the tension raised when Bill Murray, who felt that Chase's return threated his place at SNL, started making sarcastic statements about Chevy Chase's current marriage and escalated when Chase replied about Murray's appearance to the point both got to the point verging on fighting. Bill Belushi intervened and ended up in the middle trying to deescalate the situation but ended up being struck , though not hurt badly. Over the years, the rivalry cooled down and they were able to regain a friendly demeanor toward each other.
