We had so much fun watching this (this is the theatrical release), and there was truly no way to predict what would happen in the movie!
We ended up watching The Hangover Part II together as well (the edited version of the second one will featured on HER channel, not mine), and I'll post that full length reaction over here tomorrow! Enjoy!

2024-11-19 20:21:20 +0000 UTCThe blackjack scene was a parody of a famous scene in a very good movie from the late 1980's - RainMan, with Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman. It's a shame you two didn't watch that film before Hangover, it would have made a lot more sense.

Phillips wrote many good comedy films in the early to mid 2000s but he suddenly stopped making comedies. Phillips was later quoted as saying "Go try and be funny nowadays with this woke culture."

Little known fact: this first "The Hangover" movie is very loosely based on the life of the former TV evangelist, Reverend Jimmy Swaggart. Okay, just kidding. But not the part about the prostitutes.

Of course, as I've made clear many times around here, I really don't care for these sort of lowbrow 21st century mainstream comedies, but I wish her the best of luck in her endeavor.
