THE FUGITIVE - Full Length Reaction!

Here's the full length reaction to The Fugitive! I knew that Harrison Ford was the lead, but I had no idea that Tommy Lee Jones was in this one! It was so fun to see them in a movie together! Enjoy!

My plan is to also watch The Hunt for Red October soon. It was tied with The Fugitive on the poll for the first day, soooo... we're watching it :)

You should watch the sequel to this movie, "U.S. Marshalls" from 1998, Tommy Lee Jones teams up with Robert Downey Jr.

David Crabtree

Awesome Movie. U should re-watch it. In your excitement u spoke over some key dialogue about 4 or 5 times.

This is the actual Warner Bros. Pictures logo that opens the movie: https://youtu.be/CVGuLEypcy0?feature=shared

What Lies Beneath needs to be on a list, one of Harrisons more underrated roles imo, im sure others have recommended US Marshalls but if not it is a great sequel.

Jasbro

Chain Reaction is another Andrew Davis flick that stars Keanu Reeves & Morgan Freeman. U should check it out one day, it's really good.

JakeToll

Right?

Thats MR. Baldamort

I remember her best as Tom Hanks' love interest in "Nothing in Common."

My one gripe is with Charles getting all pissed off at Richard for exposing him. I mean, you broke the law, man, WTF did you expect?? It's like a moment with one of those Scooby-Doo villains. 🤷‍♂️

Byrd N. Hand

My only gripe about this movie is how the investigators were like "your prints are all over your gun and the ammo therefore you shot her" I'm like, "well it's his gun, no shit his prints are on it, wtf? Who the hell hired you?"

Seconded

Trembling Colors

Lol, Addie needs to have her own sudden ridiculously loud dramatic music cues out of nowhere in her videos now. 😄

Doug

You totally need to see the next US Marshalls. Sequel kinda. Wesley snipes and Robert Downey Jr and all the us marshal team you saw in the fugitive.

If they swapped the South Side Irish Parade in Chicago for the Von Steuben Day parade (also in Chicago), we coulda had the Ferris Bueller mashup that we didn't know we needed. The beautiful Sela Ward had only a limited role as Dr. Kimble's murdered wife but she was in a romantic TV series with Billy Campbell, "Once and Again", in 1999. Actress Susanna Thompson was also in the cast of "OaA", and she later had a part in a movie, "Random Hearts", where she, too, played the dead wife of Harrison Ford's character.

ButtercupsTrueLove

Don't think the killer made her say "Richard...he's trying to kill me..." I think she was dying, and just blurted out a salad of words and thoughts...love for her husband, and the fear of dying.

Growing up seeing the original Star Wars trilogy and Indiana Jones trilogy in the theaters, I was already a big Harrison Ford fan. I went to see this one in the theater with my ex-wife, knowing it was based on an old t.v. series, and I loved it. I also love the follow up, U.S. Marshals, which still has Tommy Lee Jones and his amazing performance, as well as Wesley Snipes who is always great.

I wasn't for sure so I googled it, and there is. That one is called "Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit".

Randee Carreno

I remember watching the TV series, then this came out. It was like Oh Yeah! But no other movies or series 😞

Randolph Tirazona

Wasn't there also a fifth Jack Ryan movie with Chris Pine?

Byrd N. Hand

The line "I don't care" is iconic! Believe it or not the film is based on a true story, the Sam Sheppard case. Also, the true crime inspired a tv show back in the 60s. Julianne Moore was supposed to have a more significant role due to her position in the cast credits but most of her scenes were cut because the producers thought that giving Dr. Kimble a love interest would dilute his agency for justice for his murdered beloved wife.

The hunt for red october is loosley based on real events too. You'll enjoy it.

Thats MR. Baldamort

Sweet hunt for red October is one of my favorite movies. Hope u like it.

Perry Campbell

Happy Monday, Addie! I hope that you had a great weekend. 😊 I'm so excited for this one. This is easily one of my all-time favorite Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones films. And I'm so happy that you plan to watch "The Hunt for Red October". After that movie, I do very highly recommend completing the "Jack Ryan" movies with "Patriot Games" and "Clear and Present Danger"(with Harrison Ford taking over the role of Jack Ryan from Alec Baldwin) and "The Sum of All Fears". For more Harrison Ford I VERY HIGHLY recommend the 1985 "Witness". And for more Tommy Lee Jones I highly recommend the 1994 "The Client". Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. Have a great day today! 😊

Randee Carreno

The Fugitive is the best St. Patrick Day’s movie ever made.

Julian San

US Marshalls, the sequel is pretty good too. Tommy Lee Jones is back with a younger Robert Downey

Coincidentally, Harrison Ford also takes over the role of Jack Ryan (from Alec Baldwin) in "The Hunt for Red October" in the next 2 Jack Ryan movies, "Patriot Games" and "Clear and Present Danger" (as if you don't have your fingers in enough franchises right now 😬). I'd also recommend "Witness," the film for which Ford scored his only Oscar nomination -- as well as "American Graffiti," "The Conversation," and "Apocalypse Now," in which has smaller roles. Lastly, if you didn't catch it, that was Joe Pantoliano as Gerard's deputy, whom you've previously seen as Francis Fratelli in "The Goonies" and Cypher in "The Matrix."

Never ceases to amaze me when I watch a reaction to this film and people are shocked the husband of a murder victim is considered a suspect

Happy Monday, Addie. The Fugitive (1993) is one of my all-time favorite Harrison Ford movies, alongside Air Force One (1997) & the Indiana Jones movies. I own the original 1997 DVD with the 1.33:1 Full-Screen version on Side A and the 1.85:1 Widescreen version on Side B. See you soon for The Hunt for Red October (1990). BTW, the woman that believes that Richard Kimble is innocent is Jane Lynch, the voice of Sergeant Calhoun in Wreck-it Ralph (2012) & Coach Sue Sylvester in Glee (2009-2015).
