Two more great Soviet/Cold War era films that should have been included, hopefully can consider in the future; both of these based on real historical events: Thirteen Days- Kevin Costner and Bruce Greenwood, a great dramatization of the Cuban Missile Crisis, coming to the brink of nuclear war, and The Right Stuff, uplifting story of the early space race. PIB did react to both of these, would love to see Addie do so, as well.

2024-08-22 01:47:21 +0000 UTCSo many great movies in this list. Hunt for Red October, The Fugitive, A Few Good Men and Crimson Tide are all in my all-time favourite list. So whichever of those 4 wins, it's a good choice

2024-08-18 20:47:39 +0000 UTCIt needs to be THE FUGITIVE. Great flick.
Philip Davetas
2024-08-18 17:27:35 +0000 UTCYep, definitely loved that part.

2024-08-18 00:31:29 +0000 UTC"No Way Out" frankly has one of the best (and most underrated) twist endings ever, IMO.

2024-08-16 17:13:39 +0000 UTCMost of those were great movies. I voted for The Fugitive this time. Since you put some Cold War/Soviet era and nuclear threat themes, I hope you'll consider these in the future: first a forgotten, underrated gem I was disappointed I could not find reactions on any channels like this: No Way Out-1987, with Kevin Costner and Gene Hackman- would love to see you be the first! The more recent Bridge of Spies, and the old time classics Dr. Strangelove and On the Beach would be great, too.

2024-08-16 02:13:56 +0000 UTCI find it easiest to enjoy Sorkin's work if I assume it takes place in an alternate reality.
Happy Hanukkah
2024-08-16 02:06:02 +0000 UTCI've heard these are all excellent, but I've only seen "A Few Good Men" & "The Fugitive".

2024-08-15 23:14:03 +0000 UTCSo many great movies in this list! It's hard to choose one^^ The Fugitive and Hunt for Red October are two of my most beloved movies ever. The others are must-see classics.

2024-08-15 22:19:28 +0000 UTCCrimson Tide (1995) is the chopped liver of this poll as it's dead last. Hopefully a Tony Scott poll follows. #MoreTonyScottForAddieCounts

2024-08-15 21:16:37 +0000 UTCGreat list. Wish PiB would put up a poll with options as good as these.

2024-08-15 20:35:36 +0000 UTCDamn, these are ALL great movies. I’m surprised it isn’t a straight up dead heat!
Julian San
2024-08-15 19:28:31 +0000 UTCIt's Heat for me. I'm a big Michael Mann fan. Red October would be an acceptable second.

2024-08-15 18:37:23 +0000 UTCI voted A Few Good Men as it is my fav on the list but plenty of good choices.. out of the two that seem to be battling it out, I'd hope The Fugitive pulls through

2024-08-15 18:20:41 +0000 UTCI know it takes a while to do these but I want to watch Addie every day:) by the way I'm ok with either Fugitive or Red October:)

2024-08-15 18:11:21 +0000 UTCPerhaps the most solid lineup I’ve seen in any reactor’s poll ever. Not even an average film in the bunch. They’re all amazing! This should be a vote for order of reacting to them all. 😀
Ian Forbes
2024-08-15 18:10:42 +0000 UTCTechnically, all of those are great so just watch all of 'em!
HeyHeyJK
2024-08-15 18:02:21 +0000 UTCI've never commented on one of Addie's posts before, I've never asked y'all for anything in my life... but I am begging Addie, all my fellow patrons, and any listening angels to PLEASE allow Addie to react to "A Few Good Men."
Lemuel Daher
2024-08-15 17:57:44 +0000 UTCInteresting list, I’m not sure they have anything in common other than being really good movies. 🙂 If I had to pick one out of these it would be The Usual Suspects, I’m kind of surprised Addie didn’t watch it for the channel before! Hunt for Red October is probably my second choice, if only because it’s been a while since I saw it. But honestly I’m down with anything on this list I think (I don’t know if I ever saw Heat. 🤷♂️)

2024-08-15 17:54:47 +0000 UTCThey all live happily ever after?

2024-08-15 17:51:50 +0000 UTCall of these are great...this is tough

2024-08-15 17:36:05 +0000 UTCYa there's a lot in that movie that would never happen in reality, but if u can get past them it's a good watch

2024-08-15 17:25:56 +0000 UTCThe Fugitive hands down!

2024-08-15 16:47:41 +0000 UTCMy hesitation about that one winning is that it's very possibly going to get people clamoring for Addie to then also go down the Jack Ryan rabbit hole... and, let's face it, between "Mission: Impossible," "Planet of the Apes," and potentially "The Naked Gun," "The Karate Kid," and Dirty Harry, she's got a lot of franchises already on her plate at this time. 🤔
Byrd N. Hand
2024-08-15 16:42:53 +0000 UTCIt doesn’t look like it will right now but I’m really pulling for The Hunt for Red October.
Thomas Wetherell
2024-08-15 16:42:00 +0000 UTCThe fugitive and hunt for red october are my votes.
Thats MR. Baldamort
2024-08-15 16:38:30 +0000 UTCWow. Good poll. It’s hard to choose just one. I like them all except The Hunt For Red October. And that’s just because I haven’t seen it.
Cameron Kerby
2024-08-15 16:33:05 +0000 UTCHappy Thursday, Addie! 😊 All great choices for this poll. "The Fugitive" easily got my vote with "Hunt For Red October" as my second choice. Have a great day today! 😊
Randee Carreno
2024-08-15 16:30:03 +0000 UTC'Heat', one of my favorite films! A cinematic masterpiece! An unknown remake and based on real events.
Kyle Brandon Sanger
2024-08-15 16:25:04 +0000 UTC"The Fugitive" is definitely the best title here, IMO. "A Few Good Men" has never interested me enough to actually see it... 🤷♂️

2024-08-15 16:21:49 +0000 UTCNo spoilers. I can't tell you the best thing about The Usual Suspects.

2024-08-15 16:21:19 +0000 UTCCrimson Tide (1995) is dead last.
Alex Tan
2024-08-15 16:13:47 +0000 UTCAll good ones. I voted the Fugitive but I'll be happy with any of these.

2024-08-15 16:13:30 +0000 UTCI've seen too many reactors watch The Usual Suspects lately.

2024-08-15 16:10:08 +0000 UTCHow do you pick against any of these?! My vote is for you to watch them all!
Mark Dahlen
2024-08-15 16:09:31 +0000 UTCWow! 😲 What a poll! You can't go wrong with any of these films!
Phil Stubblefield
2024-08-15 16:07:21 +0000 UTCSorry... you have to watch all the movies 😉. And if you watch red october then crimson tide should come right after
Konstantin Knopp
2024-08-15 16:06:46 +0000 UTCHappy Thursday, Addie. All are great choices but my votes go to The Hunt for Red October (1990), The Fugitive (1993) and Crimson Tide (1995). See you tomorrow for your August Q&A.
Alex Tan
2024-08-15 16:05:44 +0000 UTCAs a Marine, A Few Good Men annoys me but it's still a great movie watch. The Fugitive will keep u on the edge of ur seat 💯

2024-08-15 16:04:31 +0000 UTCThe Hunt For Red October 1st, Heat 2nd, The Fugitive 3rd.
