It is always the simple minded, those with no reason or understanding to opposing views, who create the greatest problems in society. One man, not willing to give peace with the apes a chance, or one ape not willing to see more than hate for humans, and any chance of peace is ruined.

2024-08-08 00:00:49 +0000 UTCIn the original The Planet of the Apes movie they somewhat explained that man destroyed themselves through war. I do not recall them ever specifically mentioning war, but that was a looming threat of the times, so it makes sense. I like the explanation of a man made disease better, because I find it hard to buy that we will ever have a war so overblown as to destroy humankind. That is just my opinion.
