I love the absolute DELIGHT that you show whenever a musical number starts. That's how i feel when a musical number starts! I love this movie, but it's actually usually ranked on the lower-end when people go over Mel Brooks' filmography. That's not a dig here, but rather shows JUST HOW GOOD the rest of his films are. I think you'd love "Blazing Saddles" and "Young Frankenstein", plus "History of the World, Part I" and "Spaceballs".

2024-05-26 20:39:54 +0000 UTCAmy Yasbeck two weeks in a row!! While a lot of the jokes are riffs on Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (the Robin who couldnβt do an English accent) this is by far the superior of the two films and the Robin Hood mythology is strong enough to carry the audience through.

Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. Another great Robin Hood movie that I very highly recommend if you haven't seen it yet is the 1991 "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" starring Kevin Costner. Have a great day today! π

BTW, the actor who played Westley in The Princess Bride (1987), Jonas Miller in Twister (1996) and Sir Edgar in Ella Enchanted (2004) is Cary Elwes.
