THE IRON CLAW - Full Length Reaction!

Here's the full length reaction to The Iron Claw! I wanted to see this one in theaters, but time flies and it's already streaming... So let's watch it together! I didn't know anything about the Von Erich family going into this, and I'm so glad I didn't look up anything about them before watching the movie. Their story is waaaay more heartbreaking than I ever could have imagined. Enjoy!

There was actually another brother Chris who also killed himself a few years before Kerry...It sucks they left him out but they decided it would be to tragic and because of time constraints

If Addie were a professional wrestler, her catchphrases would be “And that’s what Counts” “You can Count on it” “Close, but who’s Counting?” “Don’t Count me out” Her finishing moves would be The Final Count and Countdown

Julian San

Maybe "Short Circuit" 1986 would be better, besides it has Alley Sheedy! Her name is Stephanie!

had a fun time watching this with you! it was a little weird, because I was watching your reaction to this, while watching the Canucks game.. so I was crying along with you, while at the same time cheering because my team was winning and in fact won. I had the angry/happy face, like the Angry Whopper commercial lol

Great movie, I totally missed this one when it came out! I used to watch wrestling back in the day but the Von Erichs predated that for me so I wasn't really familiar with their story, amazing and tragic how much happened to them in what seems like just a few years. If you're ever in the mood for another fantastic movie about professional wrestling, check out The Wrestler from 2008 with Mickey Rourke. It's easily one of his best films. 🙂

Addie! Ollie says: "St. Elmo's Fire" (1985)

Speaking of Matthew Perry (RIP), I also suggest Fools Rush In (1997), The Whole Nine Yards (2000) and The Whole Ten Yards (2004). #MoreMatthewPerryForAddieCounts

The guy playing Ric Flair put in a good effort, but he wasn't nearly as stylin' and profilin' as the real Nature Boy. WOOOO!

Joe Blankenship

I remember watching Kerry Von Erik when he was "The Texas Tornado" in the WWF. Watching this movie was hard for me in the theaters even though I heard of the stories about the family.

I'm always happy to see A24!

I've never really been into pro wrestling (or even 'proper' wrestling), but I'll throw out a couple other films that revolve around the topic: Jared Hess' "Nacho Libre" and Darren Aronofsky's "The Wrestler" (Aronofsky has made 4 of among my favorite films of the 21st century so far... though this isn't one of them - mostly because of the subject matter - but it *is* probably his easiest-to-swallow film).

Byrd N. Hand

It's weird now seeing him as a full-fledged adult after knowing him as a pretty-boy teen heartthrob for all those years... 🤔

A movie with Zac Efron and some other hunky dudes all buff with their shirts off... Hmm...🤔 Why am I not surprised? LOL

Happy Friday, Addie! 😊 This is a great surprise movie to start off the weekend. When I first heard about this movie I didn't know that it was based on a true story. And it turned out to be really good. Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. Another really good Zac Efron movie that I highly recommend is the 2009 "17 Again", which also stars Matthew Perry(RIP always). Have a great day today and a great weekend! 😊

Happy Friday, Addie. This is another nice surprise reaction. I'm so glad that you finally watched The Iron Claw (2023) as your second A24 movie on your channel. I plan on watching this movie tomorrow night or later because I just ordered my Blu-ray copy of the movie from Amazon. See you soon for Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988). It should be something lighthearted for you after this movie.
