AIR FORCE ONE - Full Length Reaction!

Here's the full length reaction to Air Force One! This movie had me STRESSED, but it was cool to see Harrison Ford in a different role! I think I've really only seen him as Han Solo and Indiana Jones so far. Enjoy!

AIR FORCE ONE - Full Length Reaction!

Comments

Dude, if you wanna see a great stand-alone Harry flick, then you need to get up on WITNESS.

Philip Davetas

Being very old and being a Han Solo fan… I can report with 100% certainty that Han did shoot first in “Star Wars” (1976) as I am thee OG witness. For many years I used to babysit for my sisters 6 or 7 kids including 3 or 4 relatives the same age, but one day we were watching cartoons and my nephew points at a character and says: “Him!” He had a smile on his face! A Kodak moment! Then he did the same Indy in Raiders of the Lost Ark. Ever since then I’ve used “Him” or “Her” to designate an actor or actress that has reached and especial plateau. Harrison For definitely reached that plateau as well as being ‘thee Original and Iconic HIM!’ Yes! "Regarding Henry" (1991).

Randolph Tirazona

If you want to see a Harrison Ford movie where 1) he plays something completely against type and 2) you will cry, you should check out Regarding Henry

The Dingo

Lol, the second I saw Xander Berkeley I knew he was a bad guy. He's ALWAYS the bad guy! 😄

Doug

Addie, I'm so glad you watched this! One of my favorite Harrison Ford films. Despite the fact that I know I'm being emotionally manipulated, I can't help but get goose bumps every time I see Halo Flight come streaking over Air Force One!

Phil Stubblefield

"Bony ass..." 😉

Phil Stubblefield

Nothing screams "American patriotism" than a film specifically for Americans about the president himself being the hero from Hollywood's stereotypical go to Russian bad guys. Bonus for all the campy, patriotic heroic music and cringe acting from most of the extras. Gary and Harrison saved this film.

One often overlooked Harrison Ford romantic comedy is "Working Girl", which I think you would like very much.

Mine too.

Here's another obligatory: if you watched Air Force One (1997), then you must watch Con Air (1997) with Nicolas Cage and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. #ConAirForAddieCounts

And it's directed by Robert Zemeckis, the director of the Back to the Future trilogy, Forrest Gump (1994) and Cast Away (2000). #WhatLiesBeneathForAddieCounts

Alex Tan

I would like to suggest "What Lies Beneath" if you're looking for more Harrison Ford movies that are different from his normal roles, which has the amazing Michelle Pfeiffer staring alongside him as well.

If there was a movie in the '80s, '90s, and/or '00s that had Russian characters in it, Elya Baskin (who played the Russians' designated pilot here) was probably in it. You might know him best as Mr. Ditkovich in the Sam Raimi "Spider-Man" trilogy.

I'll also throw in my support for Both Blade Runner Films. Make sure that the first Blade Runner you watch is the "The Final Cut" for when it comes time to see it.

Whoop whoop. Classic. Love Gary Oldman in this.

PHILLIP CORNISH

Fun fact: The mom in the movie is Wendy Crewson, who plays Laura in the Santa Clause movies. The actor who played Isador Rabi in Oppenheimer (2023) is David Krumholtz, who played Bernard the Head Elf in the Santa Clause movies as well.

Alex Tan

I second his Jack Ryan movies. #MoreHarrisonFordForAddieCounts

I'd recommend her watching "The Guns of Navarone" before its (greatly inferior) sequel, "Force 10 from Navarone." I'm hoping she'll react to "American Graffiti" this summer.

Let's give Addie a round of applause for surviving Air Force One (1997). 👏👏 Happy Wednesday. This is now one of my all-time favorite Harrison Ford movies alongside the Indiana Jones movies that he was in. I totally agree with you that he was awesome as President James Marshall, especially when he tells Ivan Korshunov "Get off my plane!". I even own the movie on DVD as a double-sided disc containing the 2.39:1 Widescreen version on Side A and the 4:3 Full Screen version on Side B. Hopefully Labyrinth (1986) will be something light-hearted for you after being stressed out by this movie, unless you surprise us with Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (2013). BTW, this movie is also on Disney+ outside North America (US & Canada).

Alex Tan

This is one of my favies!!!

Randolph Tirazona

Happy Wednesday, Addie! 😊 So glad that you enjoyed this movie, even though it is very stressful in parts. This is easily one of my top favorite Harrison Ford films. And Gary Oldman makes a great bad guy. Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. Some other great Harrison Ford movies that haven't been mentioned in the comments yet are: Force 10 From Navarone(which also has Carl Weathers in it), Working Girl, Sabrina, 42(with Chadwick Boseman), Six Days, Seven Nights, What Lies Beneath, and American Graffiti. Have a great day today! 😊

Still recommending you also check out both "Blade Runner" movies, as well as "Witness" (for which Ford received his only Oscar nomination), "The Mosquito Coast," "Frantic," "The Fugitive," and his 2 Jack Ryan outings ("Patriot Games" and "Clear and Present Danger").

Byrd N. Hand

The Fugitive is another superb Harrison Ford movie. Tommy Lee Jones is in it too
