BIG HERO 6 - Full Length Reaction!

Here's the full length reaction to Big Hero 6! This is one that I've been wanting to watch for a long time, so I decided to go ahead and watch it! This is now one of my favorite animated movies! The animation was beautiful, and the movie was emotional, heartwarming, funny... Everything I want in a movie and MORE! Also, Baymax is adorable, and I want a Baymax for myself. Enjoy!

I never saw 1-5. I'm afraid I'll be lost. šŸ˜‰

I've seen The Incredibles (and the second one!) I WISH I could go back and watch it for the first time! It's such a fun movie!

AHH now I'm crying! I know Baymax is watching out for her every day

The Pacific Wharf area of DCA at Disneyland was reimagined as San Fransokyo Square… you can meet and greet both Hiro and Baymax there. My daughter is a baker at the Boudin Bakery, and helped design the sourdough Baxmax which can be purchased. If you visit the bakery, she is one wearing a red cap.

I imagine she's already seen it, given her lack of any other Pixar movies appearing in her animation polls after "WALL-E."

My dad is a comic book super nerd, so I was raised with the Marvel movies as well as a bunch of random superhero movies like "The Incredibles," "Watchmen," and the like. So, it's not really a surprise that I love this one too. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I've seen this movie at least a dozen times over the years since I first saw it. Which is why I was surprised watching it today for several reasons. But first, I am always compelled to say about this movie: I enjoy lots of comedies, but after I've seen them once or twice, most comedies don't make me literally laugh out loud. I'll still smile and enjoy the comedic bits, but you know, it doesn't often have the same impact that the first viewing does. But the part with Baymax reinflating his arms and taping the holes, with the squeaking from the escaping air getting higher and high pitched NEVER fails to make me laugh. Even after so many viewings. =) Now.. I was surprised today. When the movie was over and you skipped to the after-credit scene, I paused your video and let the credits play until they caught up. I've let the credits play before but never really paid attention to them. So, I never noticed before that there are news clips scattered in among the other animations that mention other heroic things the Big Hero 6 have done to help people. It's a nice touch! I like it. Also, I never realized that Alan Tudyk plays Alistair Krei. I didn't recognize his voice AT ALL. And I'm a huge fan of him in "Firefly," "Tucker & Dale vs. Evil," and "A Knight's Tale," so... color me shocked! Twice! Hope your week is going well, Addie! (and anyone else that happens to see this). Looking forward to "Gremlins" and whatever else you've got planned for the upcoming weeks!

I'd second (or third or whatever) this suggestion. I've never seen "The Incredibles" receive any mass complaints when a reaction comes up. It's pretty safe to just react to it if you want. No poll required.

This was as fun as you watching WALL-E! Is there anything as much fun as watching animated films? This made my day!

Billy Dancel

And YES, that was Stan Lee making a cameo as Fred’s dad in that portrait. Big Hero 6 is based on a Marvel Comic.

SO glad you finally watched this!! My wife's fav movie...I had a Baymax plushie that talked and I put it with her in her coffin so he could watch out for her.

I wouldn’t call ā€œKrampusā€ a horror movie, in the traditional sense. Its more of a dark Christmas story, IMO. It’s no scarier than the original ā€œA Christmas Carolā€, about creepy spirits using fear to teach a lesson to people with bad Christmas attitudes. There's no killing in it. Was there? I haven't seen it in a while. lol

Mr. Writhms

If you surprise us with a horror movie this holiday season, I do hope it's Krampus (2015). #KrampusForAddieCounts

Happy Wednesday, Addie! 😊 I'm just now catching up with this after a busy most of the day. This is a great movie. Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction this evening. I'm throwing in my vote with those who want for you to watch "Oppenheimer". I finally got around to watching all of it last night. And you definitely need to see it when you have the time. Have a great rest of the day! 😊

This is a pleasant surprise-- one of my favorite animated movies! Personally, I think you should do this more often-- post a movie YOU want to watch. Surprise us. Just don’t go overboard with too many horror movies, ok? šŸ˜‰ Hey, the next time you post an animated poll, would you possibly tack up a couple of my favorites from this list? ā€œKubo and the Two Stringsā€ (2016) ā€œCoralineā€ (2009) ā€œThe Adventures of Tin Tinā€ (2011) ā€œ9ā€ (2009) ā€œCorpse Brideā€ (2005) Speaking of animated heros... Did you see ā€œThe Incrediblesā€? If not, PLEASE put that on a poll. In fact, just post it one day. You’d love it. I’m sure most of the subscribers would too.

Mr. Writhms

If you haven't seen it, I'd recommend you add The Incredibles (2004) to your list. That's another brilliant animated superhero movie (from Pixar, not Disney).

Luis Fernandez

This might be my favorite Disney release of the past decade, with Coco and Encanto following closely behind. It really is top notch. *fist bump* ba-da-la-da-la

Baymax pulling an iron giant at the end there lol.

However, I also suggest Disney's Dinosaur (2000) & Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001). They are both the opposite of what Big Hero 6 has because they're both very intense with moments that'll make your heart race with fewer songs and more explosions. But in actuality, there are still some fun moments in both movies as well. They just have their share of intense moments. #MoreDisneyAnimationForAddieCounts

Happy Wednesday, Addie. Even though I was hoping that you would watch Oppenheimer (2023) today, I'm actually glad that you enjoyed Big Hero 6 (2014). Even I enjoyed this movie myself as well. My favorite Baymax moments are when he tapes the air holes in his body, when he comes home and acts like he's drunk, Hairy Baby, and when he shoots down a statue of Hans from Frozen (2013). I even own this movie on Blu-ray and I also own two Funko Pop figures of Hiro Hamada & Go-Go Tomago. There's also a San Fransokyo at Disney California Adventure at Disneyland. You & Jeremy should visit there if you travel to Anaheim, California. I do hope that you watch Oppenheimer (2023), next week because I'm still holding out for that reaction. See you on Friday for Gremlins (1984).
