INCEPTION - Full Length Reaction!

The Magenta Maiden admitting to confusion during that last climatic sequence was some welcomed honesty. I’ve watched this movie several times and even I wasn’t sure what the frig’ was going on there 😂

Your mind is like Ariadne when she was told the first time that she was in a dream and freaked out. Everything started exploding all around her just like how your mind is blown now.

like you, I wanted to see how they filmed some of this truly amazing scenes! like the Staircase, Paradox scenes and the 360 hallway fight scene with Joseph Gordon-Levitt. AMAZING.

Mister Lou

I loved your reaction :) I always go nuts hearing that music, real headbanger. But srsyl, I think you actually picked up a lot for the first watch. Also a lot of details, like Browning "coming closer" in the mirror images. I think I didn't see that in the first watch. But it is really sweet, since the more you notice the more reactions we get to see :) And well once you said you have to see the Behind the Scenes of this I of course couldn't help it and fall totally in love :D I love the idea of the movie overall being actualy an inception into Cobb's mind and that the idea is that he needs to let go of his wife. So basically a how to get over the loss of the love of your life. But I don't actually know what the "big" theories out there are. Anyways I am a Nolan fan and would recommend any movie of him (watched every movie of him multiple times), which also means I am happy with just any choice. Can't wait!

"I just really want this to be his reality", that's actually the point of the final scene. What's important isn't whether or not the spinner eventually falls. What's important is that Cobb stopped looking at the spinner and instead chose his children, finally getting to see their faces and hold them again.

Really enjoyed going on this roller coaster again! A fun reaction.

This is my 4th time seeing this movie and it gets better each time-- noticing things I didn't in the previous viewing. You can't just see INCEPTION once. The first time is just a dream.

I hope you watch MEMENTO before you watch his other films(as they may discourage you from watching the rest of his films). It is, in my opinion, the last great film of his that you haven't seen. Tightly scripted, phenomenal acting, and shot so beautifully(especially for such a low budget film). It's an absolute dazzler, and the reason Hollywood decided to bet on him big-time.

Inception introduced to be Marion Cottilard, Tom Hardy and Joseph Gordon Levitt. It also turned me into a sci-fi buff and opened my eyes to possiblities.

Cobb’s wedding ring? The true totem? Was he wearing it?

Addie watching Oppenheimer should occur in between both Godfather movies and Kung Fu Panda 3.

Alex Tan

Again, her finishing the "Godfather" trilogy is a higher priority to me (I'm guessing she'll wrap the "Kung Fu Panda" trilogy this week), but I certainly won't object to it.

Once again, the Nymph du Noir has provided some excellent afterwork viewing for tonight!

Julian San

I second the Oppenheimer reaction, that movie is so damn good. Retelling of the true story of "The Father of the Atomic Bomb"

Happy Monday Addie, Is this a dream?

Here's how the rotating hallway scene was made. https://youtu.be/4h_DpCFQ99w?feature=shared

Happy Monday, Addie! I hope that you had a great weekend. 😊 This is one of my favorite Leonardo DiCaprio starring, and Christopher Nolan directed films. I hope that you get the chance to watch "Oppenheimer" since it came in second in the poll. Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. Have a great day today. 😊

Rhythmically stomp your feet if you want to see Addie watch Oppenheimer (2023). It came in second on her Christopher Nolan poll, last week. #OppenheimerForAddieCounts

Happy Monday, Addie. I'm so glad that you were blown away by Inception (2010). My favorite mind-blowing scene in the movie was the rotating hallway fight. An Arriflex 435 film camera was mounted on a platform that was rigged by a hidden rail that was in the carpet on the floor of the hallway to make it look like they were levitating onto the walls and ceiling.

Alex Tan

It is one of many "Great Shows" 😀 Mind blowing, p4ovocative, etc.
