Mal and Inara getting together would've been too mushy and predictable and pure fan service instead of creative writing. They had to keep the characters true. Mal still has a ship to run and get back in business and give everyone else the time they need to get back to feeling normal again, especially Zoe.

I have seen this series and movie more times than I can remember and I never get tired of it. And it has been such a pleasure and wonderful experience sharing your journey through Firefly. It doesn’t look like anyone has mentioned yet that there is a little more Firefly content to watch. The River Tam Sessions, which can be found on YouTube, are several short videos of River having some kind of session with someone in the institute where she was being held. Summer Glau does an amazing job portraying how what they did to her changed her over time.

This was a nice surprise to wake up to after my latest surgery! I originally saw "Serenity" when I pulled it out of my dad's DVD collection. I liked the cover and it seemed like a cool Sci-Fi movie. I had no idea there was a series connected to it. My dad caught me watching it almost at the end and was horrified that I saw it without seeing the series first, so he dropped the full season of "Firefly" on my lap and told me I had to watch it or I was grounded. Edited because I accidentally hit enter and posted half a comment.

Your next TV show should be "Band of Brothers" its a HBO mini series consisting of 10 episodes that tells the true story of Easy Company in WW2 as the 101st airborne durng the invasion of Normandy. You seen them before, in Saving Private Ryan. Even though that wasnt a true story movie, Ryan was in the 101st airborn in Easy Company. Tom Hanks starred in that film, with Band of Brothers both Tom Hanks and Steven Spielburg are the producers and youll see some actors in that film that got their start in that show that are very big name actors today.

Great reaction to the end of a great series. Now that you've seen Joss Whedon kill Coulson, Wash, and Book, you know you can never truly trust the guy to let everyone live happily ever after. If you ever watch the TV series Castle, which had Nathan Fillion, you'll catch a few Firefly references throughout the show. Or if you don't ever intend to watch the show you can youtube them. The Space Cowboy scene was the best.

That was an amazing reaction. I still feel the same as I did seeing it for the first time in the theater, and I still tear up at the end, even though I have seen this movie about 30 times now. Some of my very favorite things in this are the writing and the acting by Chilwetel Ejiofor as the Alliance Operative. I really love the dialogue though, especial the call backs to the operative calling River an albatross, and then Mal calls her Little Albatross at the end. Also when Mal meets the operative and the operative tells Mal "you can't make me angry", then in the final fight when the operative shoots Mal in the back and Mal says "You shot me in the back! I haven't made you angry, have I?" Those and so much more subtle dialogue just makes this and any of Joss Whedons works so much more azmazing.

Because you loved the show, I would recommend you watch the Buffyverse TV series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and also Angel.

Ever since we got the last episodes added to YT I’ve been looping through the season. You were wayyy too tense through this. I wish you were more relaxed but I know you still enjoyed it. It’s been a while since I’ve seen Serenity in full and while I was thinking ahead I found out what River meant by, “He didn’t lie down. They all lie down.” She meant the other students AND the people on Miranda.” “I’ll show them. Oh, God.” A heavy burden to let everyone else in on. Seeing Book the first time cracked the dam. Then… he didn’t have to be on the ship but to still be a part of the crew. The true story behind the Reavers is so awful. A secret that could destroy the Alliance despite their reasons to do what’s best for everyone. Jayne passing the bottle to Simon was an incredible show of trust and dare I say it, friendship. Wash A leaf on the wind. See how he soars. Imagine if Serenity were to be shown again in the theaters. I’ll be there all day!! Brown Coats forever We all aim to misbehave
