DEADPOOL 2 [Theatrical Cut] - Full Length Reaction!

I actually prefer this to the first film. My biggest nagative is not having Vanessa in the film except at the beginning and end. But Domino is awesome. The only think it's missing from the first movie is Gina Carano!

David Crabtree

I genuinely hate that there will be no surprises left in the movie.

Looks like Deadpool 3 is getting Wolverine, Electra, definitely mutants...

Jayson Phillips

Thereโ€™s a reference in Deadpool 2 to the film Say Anything. If Addie hasnโ€™t seen that one yet, it would be a great reaction.

There's no better way to begin a video than with a special appearance from the one and only, OLLIE!!! That's all that needs to be mentioned here. lol The epitome of "too soon!!" 9 short videos ago I still miss Logan What I wouldn't give to have Wolverine back again! If we could only go back in the past, say about, 9 months. Moving on. Back to back.. Deadpool 2 and John Wick both have amazing soundtracks! Some songs I have and a few I need to add to my playlists. In fact, I just might have to look back through your movies and make an Addie Reacts playlist. Stay tuned.

Yeah the reason I love Deadpool 2 more than the first is how shockingly heartwarming this movie is. It really pulls on your heartstrings and you get really invested. One super messed up, but morbidly funny thing is when Wade was dying at the end, if you listen, the soundtrack is "Don't Be What They Made You" and if they sound familiar, it's the exact same song that played during Logans death at the end of his movie. Like I laugh so hard at that, but my god that's so morbid ๐Ÿ˜… Really liked the Thanos joke with Cable, as you seemed to notice, Josh Brolin played Cable, who also played Thanos. So some fun setup for Deadpool 3, is that it's gonna be his official introduction into the MCU. Thats right, he's coming to town ๐Ÿคฃ and if you search up Deadpool 3 teasers on Ryan Reynolds' own YouTube channel, you should check out the way he announced it. It's.... incredibly well done and hilarious.

You want something silly to watch on the side? YouTube Deadpool the musical to watch a comedy musical piece set to a Disney song.

Awe dang it, I wish you knew of the Super Duper Cut because the theatrical cut is the worst version. So much of the movie is just, missing ๐Ÿ˜”

LightsCameraJake

I never realized how different the theatrical version was. It felt like half the scenes were missing. I haven't seen this version since the extended came out. Edit: Still grateful for the reaction. Want to point that out.

aarswft

Not sure if I own the theatrical cut.

MotoDork

Where can you watch the theatrical cut??? I can't find it anywhere, everything I find is the longer runtimes which throws the movie and reaction out of sync :(

Now that you have seen #2 it's safe to watch the announcement for #3. https://youtu.be/smfQRyUtmiM

Best summation of Cableโ€™s background Iโ€™ve seen! (and it saves me from trying) Nice. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Nathan Summers also known as Cable is such a cool character. In the comic's he's the son of Madelyne Pryor, a clone of Jean Grey created by Mister Sinister, yes that's his actual supervillain name. Sinister then had Pryor seduce Cyclops (Scott Summers) in order to conceive a child that he believed would be a phenomenally powerful mutant. Cable first appeared in The New Mutants #87 and is a very 1990s character following the trend at the time of hero's with big guns and crazy visual designs. He's also close with Deadpool and have teamed up in the comics with "Deadpool & Cable" comics. He also had his own story arc in the X-Men Animated Series from the 90s where he was extremally badass and just a really cool 1980s action hero style character. That future showcased in the series was very Terminator Future War vibes with killer robots hunting Mutants and lasers flying everywhere. Here's a very fun song about Cable - https://youtu.be/NZul4hIqmi4 Love Juggernaut in this film he's the perfect rendition of the character pulled right out of the comic's. Cain Marko is a regular human who was empowered by a gem belonging to the deity Cyttorak, becoming a literal human juggernaut. He's also the stepbrother of Charles which is why he talks about his helmet blocking his brother from being able to read his mind along with the mention that he's in a wheelchair. This dialogue is not featured in the theatrical cut though. Also I love that the younger cast of the X-Men from the X-Men: Apocalypse era showed up as a cameo which of course makes no sense. Deadpool is set in the late 2010s so they should look like older versions of the cast from the original films. Pretty much the film is making a joke about how messed up the timeline of the films are along with how the cast did not age between X-Men First Class and Dark Phoenix a film set 30 years after First Class. Cannot wait for Deadpool 3 with Ryan revealing official looks at Deadpool and Wolverine in the film. Wolverine is wearing his classic Yellow and Blue suit for the first time so that's so existing, waited 23 years for this moment. I imagine we'll get a trailer sometime at the start of next year or maybe even by the end of 2023 as there filming at the moment which is where all the leaked pictures and videos and coming from.

One of the guys who killed the dog in John Wick (2014) is director David Leitch. I also suggest Atomic Blonde (2017), Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019, but watch Fast & Furious 1-8 first) and Bullet Train (2022).

Now I'm curious as to what we'll get on Friday. "How to Train Your Dragon 2"? "Beverly Hills Cop III"? The first 3 (or 4... or 5) episodes of She-Hulk? "True Lies" if you finally somehow got access to it? Something else totally out of the blue? ๐Ÿค”

Happy Wednesday, Addie. I'm so glad that you enjoyed the sequel to the first Deadpool because I did when I saw it in theaters with my dad. Deadpool still knows his stuff, even when he was split in half by the Juggernaut. I even liked how the choir was cursing during the final fight. However, Vanessa's death was heartbreaking but luckily, she's saved at the end, during a mid-credit scene. BTW, nice Ollie intro and I also loved how you enjoyed hearing 9 to 5 by Dolly Parton during the opening kill montage.

Happy Wednesday, Addie! ๐Ÿ˜Š I think this is my favorite of the two, but not by much. I love both of the "Deadpool" movies, and I'm already looking forward to the third one. Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. Have a great day today! ๐Ÿ˜Š

So ehm, which version is this? Because there is like.. five or something :D Edit: okey its the 1h59m version, so theatrical I guess. The Super Duper Cut has yet another end credit scene they couldn't show in the theater, but its on youtube.
