This movie was in a poll a while back right around the time my dog Titus passed, so a BIG THANK YOU to those of you who told me to wait a while to watch this one. Those parts of the movie were hard enough to watch as is, so I definitely would not have been okay if I watched this movie six months ago. Thank you thank you thank you for that!!

Netflix is losing the John Wick series at the end of the month so I'm rewatching this first movie and catching up on the sequels I missed. 👍 And if there's one thing I've learned from John Wick and Guardians of the Galaxy 3, it's that if you really want people to HATE, HATE, HATE a bad guy, have them kill cute animals for no reason!

The emotional impact this film had on me was so powerful and while I think hate is a very strong word I have never felt such hate towards another human. Happy that it's only a film and a very powerful one to get me going so much. Thank you for posting x

That WAS Wesley, Toby Leonard Moore. I think I"m going to look up more of his movies because I'm a fan! In Daredevil he's of course, shorter than Kingpin. Fisk is supposed to be enormous! Here, he's a pretty big dude! I'm about to watch JW4 but this first movie will always have my favorite kill. 50:26.. John has the guard pinned down and has eye contact with that punk, Iosef. Then proceeds to kill his guard without looking away. 1:09:52 ... Heyyy, it's the return of "How dare you?!" Not sure if I"m the only one who's a fan of this but it never gets old. The Continental Winston, the man in charge. His word is basically law and will be obeyed. Charon is the gentleman at the front desk played by Lance Reddick. With each movie he becomes a pivotal character. He does appear in JW4 but sadly we lost him earlier this year. Rest In Peace See you for the next movie! Take care of yourself, Addie!!
