JAWS - Full Length Reaction!

Here's the full length reaction to Jaws! I'm so glad that I've finally watched this iconic movie! Enjoy!

I know a lot of you may have been expecting me to post the rest of Daredevil Season 1 today, but unfortunately I've been sick most of this week and haven't been able to record anything :( If my voice is back by this weekend, I'll hopefully be able to record more episodes of Daredevil to post on Monday!

JAWS - Full Length Reaction!

Comments

I love sharks (and all animals really) I think they are wonderful creatures and it angers me that society's reaction to a shark attack is to cull sharks. However, like you, if I was in the water and a shark was nearby, I'd be terrified. lol

Michael Short

Fun fact... The mechanical shark was named Bruce. Where do we hear the name of Bruce again? In Finding Nemo. Bruce is the name of the Great White.

Billy Dancel

My dad was pretty much Quint IRL. Made for an exciting childhood.

Andre Agog

Now to the other end of the spectrum "Doc Hollywood" 😀

Take care of yourself! I hope you feel better soon!! If you need to delay anything else it’s fine. We can wait patiently. Have Jeremy and Ollie take care of you!

Billy Dancel

"We're gonna need a bigger boat" was not part of the script and they kept it in the movie, fun little fact 😂

Ben Gardner's head got you which proves "the shark is still working."

Love this movie. I've watched this countless times and it never gets old. I'm always heartbroken for Mrs Kintner, always sucked in by the USS Indianapolis story, and always laugh over Mary Ellen Moffat. Hope you feel better soon.

Great movie

Quint's story about the U.S.S. Indianapolis was based on the true event involving that ship in WW2. There were many shark deaths (estimates go up to about 150 of the 800 men who survived the initial attack), but the majority of the men actually died to injuries sustained during the attack and from being in the water for four days in the open ocean with no supplies. life jackets, etc. Still horrible, any way you look at it.

This is what I call a PERFECT movie! Great pacing, awesome characters, and phenomenal music by John Williams. There isn’t a dull frame in the entire film. Addie, you deserve a bigger boat for this one! 👌

I hate getting sick in the summer time, take care!

Steve SG-1

There are some other good Shark movies like Deep Blue Sea, The Meg and of course Sharknado

Happy Friday 🌄 Hope you feel better soon.

Yay, not 1 but *2* 4th of July-themed movies in time for the holiday! Hope you feel better soon.

Hear, hear. I do hope that Addie does a rewatch reaction to E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial (1982) because she did mention that she was dissatisfied with the editing of her original reaction, since it was one of her very first movie reactions on the channel.

Happy Friday, Addie! 😊 Congratulations on making through "Jaws". This movie originally gave me my fear of sharks. But over the years, I'm getting better on that. LOL! Another fantastic Steven Spielberg directed film. Looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. Another fantastic Steven Spielberg directed movie that I very highly recommend is the 1982 "E.T. the Extraterrestrial". Have a great weekend! 😊 And I hope that you get to feeling better soon.

The mechanical shark in this movie would often malfunction during filming. Here's a brief behind the scenes montage of the movie from the Studio Tour at Universal Studios Hollywood. There's also a staged event on that ride as well. They even filmed the TV series Murder, She Wrote there. https://youtu.be/V-TNnfckLCE You & Jeremy should visit Universal Studios Hollywood if you were to go on vacation to LA.

Hope you feel better soon!

Let's give Addie a round of applause for surviving Jaws (1975). 👏👏 Happy Friday. This movie is the birth of the Hollywood Blockbuster and it put Steven Spielberg on the map. It even increased shark sightings by thousands. I totally agree with you that the movie was shot so well by the late Bill Butler, in Panavision (anamorphic). Hope you feel better soon, Addie.

Hope you feel better!
