INDEPENDENCE DAY - Full Length Reaction!

Here's the full length reaction for Independence Day, just in time for... Independence Day! It's always a fun time when Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum are in a movie! I was a little nervous going into this one because my childhood self always thought this was a horror movie, but I had nothing to worry about :) Enjoy!

this is the greatest Randy Quaid movie in the world.

Great reaction. It’s not the greatest movie in the world but still a cult classic. Avoid the sequel! No Will Smith. It came out 20 years later in 2016. It was just a garbage cash grab sequel unfortunately.

The 2nd movie is a fun movie. It has Liam Hemsworth in it too.

Ooh, I'm going to try and watch it right now... I'll try a double reactor watch. I just read about the speech, they say it written in 5 minutes as a placeholder. But our guy Bill Pullman had researched recent famous speeches to inform his delivery and everyone was awestruck when he first tried it. "How was that?" tilting his head slightly sideways.

Part 2 was just as good and wish they would do part 3 already!

Jayson Phillips

I wouldn't mind a double feature with the 1958 version.

Next Jeff Goldblum movie to watch: David Cronenberg's 1986 remake of "The Fly" -- though you should probably save it for October.

Jeff Goldblum: “Must go faster!! Must go faster!!” First Independence Day and then Jurassic Park!!

I would suggest that you react to the sequel if you loved this movie; if you only liked this one, the sequel is probably one you can watch on your own. A few faces you could have recognized: Russel was played by Randy Quaid, who played Cousin Eddie in the Vacation movies. Jimmy was played by Harry Connick Jr., who has been in a few movies and is also a great musician. The president's daughter was played by Mae Whitman, who has also been in a bunch of things so you may remember seeing her. Or you may not remember ever having seen her at all. ("Her?") Another earth-gets-invaded movie that came out in 1996 was Mars Attacks! That's a fun Tim Burton movie that should definitely go on your list.

Hi, Addie. Thank you for getting back to me. What I said to you WAS unwarranted, and I would like to apologize. What happened was a complete and total misunderstanding, and I sent you a message over Patreon to explain. When you get a chance, please Addie, look at my message and message me back so I know you received it. For some reason, my Patreon had a glitch and I mistakenly thought you were mad at me because of it. I also tried to send you this message on your YouTube reaction of Daredevil today, but YouTube keeps deleting my comment and I don't know why. Furthermore, I love your videos and am proud to be a member of the Addie-tudes. I hope you are doing well. Have an awesome day, Addison!

"Let's kick the tires and light the fires big daddy" of all the movie quotes through the years, this one has stuck with me 😂

Speaking of Roland Emmerich, I also suggest Universal Soldier (1992), Stargate (1994), Godzilla (1998), The Patriot (2000), The Day After Tomorrow (2004), 10,000 BC (2008), 2012 (2009), White House Down (2013), Midway (2019) and Moonfall (2022). #MoreRolandEmmerichForAddieCounts

Happy Wednesday, Addie! 😊 OMG!!!! I love this movie so much! It's always a must watch every 4th of July, and every time it's on tv. Jeff Goldblum and Will Smith make a fantastic on-screen duo. Love Bill Pullman as President Whitmore. And of course, I love Randy Quaid's character. Whitmore's speech towards the end of the movie is one of my all-time favorite movie moments. So excited to watch this reaction later this evening. And I very highly recommend the 2016 sequel "Independence Day: Resurgence". Have a great day today! 😊

Happy Wednesday, Addie. Independence Day (1996) is my all-time favorite Roland Emmerich movie and I always watch it every July 4th because it ain't Independence Day unless Will Smith & Jeff Goldblum defeat the aliens. This movie is Top Gun+Star Wars+Close Encounters of the Third Kind, all rolled into one.
