I hate him so much and I do not understand why you and others like him so much. He is an abuser in my opinion. I am myself in season 4 and I have seen already all these season 2 episodes and I am eagerly waiting for the time when Lucky comes to season 3.

I just think the hype each ep brings is sick and is just a good anime to kick back and watch. I havent really seen much like it so thats probably why I enjoy it a lot, plus i read the manhwa so i was just hype to see it animated

2025-02-23 16:14:36 +0000 UTC1. MC is the most boring part of Solo Leveling story. He feels overpowered from very early on, even if he still is in a growing stage. He overall feels dull as a char. 2. Unfairness in the design of the world is also not fun. No side char is ever gonna grow. It kills any potential for rivalries, competition, or organic character growth. It's one thing to wonder for a viewer if this x or y char will get stronger and feel relevant, but this show told you right away, they are all fodder and stepping stones for MC, as they are all stuck at their level. Any other char fighting, or just existing on the screen, has my interest more than Jin. Even that is shadowed by the fact that they are all fodder in a sense, sooner or later. A side char gets to shine for a couple moments in an ep, gets beat or shown up soon, onto the next char. I know from start any hotshots introduced won't be a hotshot for long and they got lucky with their ranks anyway so there is no sense of respect for them too. No side char matters in the long run so they are mostly background decorations / stepping stones. The only thing left of interest in this show is the world phenomena of gates and the guilds trying to battle them. This isn't the type of show that is up Lucky's alley. How. Lucky likes power fantasy in a story, not necessarily a story in a PURE power fantasy.

It's mostly to counterbalance the side effects of both. If Shoto's body gets too cold, he can warm it up with his flames. And if he overheats, he can cool it down with his ice. Having both quirks makes him more durable! This is why Endeavor set his sights on Shoto. He had the most potential of his siblings. It also implies that he fathered children with his wife until he achieved the perfect balance between fire and ice......

We might see them later on, but your inference about the hair color is important with the Todorokis. But yeah, even if Deku had won this match, he would've definitely been eliminated later on. Also, that scene with Endeavor shouting is a little bit of a meme because it's just him shouting Shoto. But Bakugo's analogy of overuse of a quirk being like running out of MP in a video game is on point. Think about it, Uraraka can't continously use her quirk, Zero Gravity, because it makes her nauseous or motion sick. Iida can't use his jet legs too much because they stall and he burns out. Kaminari with his electricity shorts out his brain. There's even All Might, using his quirk too much shortens his time in his hero form until be reverts to his wimpy looking form. But as for what Endeavor meant by putting Shoto's mom in a hospital, I didn't initially think of him beating her or anything. I originally thought of her being in a mental institution because she did still abuse her child and would likely need rehab for her apparent mental decline. Well, we might see more about the Todoroki family later on, so keep your eyes peeled for that. And it's still worth noting that Endeavor is still the number 2 hero in Japan.

I like the fact that Deku wanted to push Shoto to use his flames to satisfy his own ego BUT ABOVE ALL to save Shoto from his torments. BTW, Shoto's mom is in a psychiatric hospital. She didn't get beaten to death by her husband lol. This is not a spoiler. It's just so you have all the ins and outs of this tragic situation.

It has to do a lot with protecting your kids at all cost, and not blaming them and reflecting your rage towards an innocent child just cuz the kid reminds u of your husband. As an adutl, u take responsibility for your actions. I did say i understand her pov and situation, but as an adult, she should've done better. I know its easy to say, but i cant justify hurting a child like that, even if u r having a mental breakdown.

That time you saw Todoroki with ice on his face in the lesson? That was a costume lol. That lesson was right after they submitted their ideas for hero costumes, and in what I can only assume was another attempt to give the middle finger to his father; Tokoroki designed a costume that could entirely cover his left side, his burn scar, red hair; all of it covered in ice. Well; you already know my idea for a name introduction to the show XD. I think everyone knew how many chills you'd be having; especially at the ending clash <3
