2025-02-11 03:53:08 +0000 UTCYo i HATE that the connections to their past lives are severed but I still want to believe the connection CAN return. But ultimately I guess there wasn't very much true value seen of the last two Avatars using the Avatar State in combat. Like, I don't mean it's worthless or anything since it allows you to bend all four elements at the same time, but I just mean that Aang and Korra didn't really use any unique bending skills for example that Kyoshi or Yangchen developed in their tenure through Raava. Which kind of sucks bc that could have been dope as hell. Having said that though, it can be argued with the exact same point that it was entirely unnecessary to write. It's my biggest issue with the series but the next books... are w i l d.

2025-02-04 17:14:57 +0000 UTCIn the last episode, somehow Korra was unable to defeat normal human Unoloq even with her avatar state. I just feel like it was bad writing, plot armor for the villain. Why did her avatar state keep turning off and time it turned on? It didn't make any sense, it just felt like they forced him into winning rather than writing something that actually makes sense. I also HATE the fact that Korra loses her connection to her past lives. She was just starting to figure out the spiritual side of things and this happens. This is the worst this show ever gets, and I still think despite the logical flaws at the end, overall the season was quite enjoyable. Its funny you have the theme of light and dark, and in this season you get the lowest low of the show but also those two flashback episodes which many fans, not me, but many fans consider to be the peak of this show. Next season is ridiculously good. Very interesting, amazing action, fantastic villains and MULTIPLE amazing reveals. This shit is PEAK! I love this show. Cant wait for next season.

2025-02-04 17:10:16 +0000 UTCThis was a lot of people's least favorite Korra season and the studio did not have sufficient time to cook up a more interesting plot. Some people found the whole Light vs Dark thing cliche. But I would say it gets better from here. The next season is my favorite.
