I had a lot of the same feeling actually. Like, obviously, if the representation did feel bad and forced, most people would hate it (obviously transphobes are gonna hate trans representation either way, and people who are ACTUALLY woke (derogatory) would love it either way), but I feel like this was the most respectful and honest portrayal a cisgender male actor could pull off.

I believe last season if the games ended early then all the money would be sent to the dead players families but this time if it ends early then the money will be split among the living players which is a huge difference. The Thanos character with the purple hair is actually played by a Kpop star who had a lot of sad controversy in the past so this is a great comeback for him. The LGBTQ community is pretty neglected and disliked in Korea so this transgender character is an interesting choice by the director. In my personal opinion, I usually think these roles are forced but I think the character actually helps add on that these are modern day issues that some people deal with.
