honestly i think you could say zoro is near luffy in strength, (this episode shows he is much more durable than luffy), and i think sanji is pretty far behind both of them in that regard.

So he became lazy and all he did was accumulate undead army. Even perona, absolam and hogback doesn't have any loyalty to him and he didn't care about it either. Because of that and hurt pride he absorbed all the shadows. To tell them that I am ten times stronger than you. Which resulted in his defeat since he stopped training and became lazy. He may be stronger in the past but at present he is not so. His overconfidence and pride caused his defeat

It's like how a F1 racer and a VW Bettle are both "cars", but it's basically a joke to try and compare the two. They've brought up Vegapunk a couple of times before this. He's the one that figured out the technology for the Marines to sail through the Calm Belt, as well as the one that figured out how to "feed" inanimate objects with devil fruit powers. Funny enough; you're talking about a movie where everyone stands up and goes "I did it, I did it" out of loyalty; and yet my mind immediately jumps to Monty Pythons "Life of Brian" where everyones doing the same thing; but it's to get out of being crucified instead XD

But this is taken to an extreme interpretation, as in, he can deflect any attack, deflect the air itself at light-speed, probably warps by deflecting himself or others, and is even able to deflect more intangible things like someone's pain and fatigue. Makes you wonder what kind of other thigns he's able to deflect, like could he deflect someone's speed and make them slower? could he deflect age? could he deflect temprature? And if so, could he then absorb it? like Zoro could absorb Luffy's deflect pain? Like could he deflect someone's 'speed' and make them slower, then absorb it himself to make himself faster? Since his devil fruit is already stretching the interpretation of 'deflection' to an extreme, I really wonder how far out he could go with it if Oda decided to explore this.

2025-01-07 01:17:47 +0000 UTCThese 2 episodes are absolutely nuts. Kuma and Zoro just give this arc an incredible boost in the end and their fight is definitely one of my favs in the series. I've always loved the amount of mystery sorrounding Kuma's character, and trust me... It's gonna take a looooong while for certains things to get revealed, but it will certainly be worth the wait, and his powers are so cool and unique, I enjoy it a lot. The rest of this arc still has something incredible in store though and the next arc right after this one is what made One Piece become my favorite anime. You ain't ready for whats coming in the next 130 episodes or so lol. Peak One Piece starts right here imo!
