February Update

Hi there,

I wanna rock your body (til' the break of dawn)... uhh I mean I wanna thank you for your continued support while I retool the podcast. This change in schedule and reduction in content has been incredible for my mental health & life in general. I feel like a dummy for not just doing it sooner!

My grandma (unexpectedly) passed away earlier this month, and not being on a weekly content schedule made dealing with that infinitely easier. 

Because of that tho, I had to head to IL and miss out on my interview with Matt Jenkins. We've rescheduled for early March! 

After that I'm gonna get with Dave & Matt to talk about Season 12 finally-- I've been in contact with both of them recently, you'll hear about it on Monday's "Bart Oates" coverage! 

Regarding the Patreon:

I still very much want to do more Patreon episodes, I just can't promise they'll be released on any specific date or within any specific time frame. They'll basically be like the interviews-- "they'll be out when they're out". Having said that, I'd like to get something out in March...

Watch Parties: We're gonna start doing our Patron-only monthly watch parties in March. I'm thinking Friday March 22nd or Saturday 23rd, I'll run a poll later to see what works best for the most people. 

The idea generally will be to watch upcoming ATHF episodes we'll be covering, some other [adult swim] shows airing around that time, movies referenced in ATHF, and movies we talk about during the pop-culture deep dives. 

I'll have a specific schedule for what we'll be watching in March & am open to suggestions :) 

We'll also do ATHF trivia too. Maybe Wayne the Main Brain will show up?

(On a serious note, if we get enough attendance for the watch parties maybe we could get some ATHF cast&crew in there eventually... something I've always wanted to do was make our own "creator commentaries" with the guys talking over the episodes.)

Anyways that's enough for now, I have way more ideas but I don't wanna make you read a novel. 

I appreciate you being here & supporting the podcast. A few people (understandably) dropped off the Patreon with the schedule change and I'm grateful for you sticking around. If everyone dropped off, I couldn't do this anymore. And that would suck ass!
