Really appreciated this episode - I didn't know this book existed so I picked up a used copy. It was a bit pricy but I get why you value it so much. This also seems to be too much of a coincidence - the proportions (and general aesthetic) of Fans Toys Prime body looks very similar to the sketch line work on p. 82. Their original Blaster also resembles his sketch on p. 86, their Superion from p. 88, and OG Soundwave from p. 96. Make of that what you will. But I think the thing I appreciate the most of this sketch work - and of their approach in general - is that the proportions are not always heroic or even humanoid but still seem appropriate.
2023-12-27 20:45:36 +0000 UTCI found this SDS very interesting! As far as future art/animation content, I'd love to see a ranking of G1 episodes based on the quality of the art and animation. Maybe not all of them, but perhaps a top ten or twenty.
