2025-08-27 00:16:27 +0000 UTCReal talk I couldn't stand the Deadwood movie but I loved the show. They upped the "Shakespearean" dialogue in the movie to a ridiculous degree. It was subtle enough in the show to just seem like elevated but natural dialogue. In the movie it sounds ridiculous and contrived. Took me out of it completely. The ending is cool though.
