I just finished The Expanse. Started watching it again. Such a good show. I like the end, but hope they return to it. The story line they leave unfinished is really unfinished.
Still really enjoying Peacemaker.
I find I barely listen to Rogan any more. Every time he opens his mouth on the pandemic I just cringe. I used to listen to him a lot. The last year he has been bringing on more and more people with misinformation then with good information, and he has one of the largest audiences in media. The reason I ever did listen to him was for the guests, so as they have started to fall more and more on the fringe of misinformation. One of his argument has always been more good speech beats misinformation, but when the misinformation gets more air time it gets more traction. Saying that, I don't agree with censorship, but free speech does not guarantee against consequences.
Never was a fan of Meatloaf's music. Respect for him as an entertainer.
For the media I have carried through my life was first, Star Trek (my Mom is a huge fan so it has been with me since birth), then Star Wars (which my Mom took me to in late 1979 when it was making its rounds again in a larger release), and then in 1984, Transformers. Music has always been part of my life. For superhero stuff, I started buying Spiderman comics in the mid '80s after reading a friends comic where Spiderman first got the symbiote, then in the late '80s I got into X-Men. My dad is a musician, and my Mom always played music while I was growing up. Her top artist were Elvis at number one, The Monkeys and Neil Diamond after him. Music is still quite central to my life.
Thanks for the episode guys. Always enjoyable.
