I really enjoyed it, but I honestly can't tell how much I would have appreciated it in a vacuum. I know it definitely got a boost because I finally watched the Ultimate Edition of BvS the week before I saw the Snyder Cut. It also got a big boost because I so hated the Joss version...that I was thrilled to get something that improved upon that stinking pile of shit. Finally, it gets a massive boost following Snyder's Vanity Fair interview where he described his original five movie story arc. So it was good. Damn good. But I'm not sure if I would have loved it as much had I not seen the Ultimate Edition of BvS, if I hadn't been so disappointed by the Joss cut of the film, and if I didn't know that every scene of the Snyder Cut was building toward a bigger, unrealized purpose.
