Also, if I had better foresight I would have sent along the hand that comes with Rampage, so you could show off the "bonus" crab mode you get out of combining the two together. But in preparation for the place to get the carpet torn out and replaced with wood, all my boxes and figures are bit by bit getting boxed up, along with multiple Ziplock bags with various loose accessories. Though I'm fairly certain I did place the hand back in the original box.
Que sera sera, they'll all get to you at the end of the line.

I think in this kind of regard I find myself in something of a "better situation of collecting." And I wish I could properly think of some words that don't come off as being condescending there, because that's not my intent at all.
What my thought process is not having a hard childhood attachment to the show; which being born in '82 I never got to see in full, only a handful of episodes that my parents recorded to VHS. And those may not have been from its initial run, but from when it became syndicated.
And my two brothers and I did have a number of the toys, but probably the only "complete set" we had were the Insecticons. All the rest were just various guys. For example, I had Hot Spot and Nosecone, my younger brother had Cutthroat, but neither of us understood the full concept of combiners, other than Devastator, who we never had.
So in this case, if in the end the combiner is pulled off, that's a big plus. But if it doesn't, I still end up with a team that at three releases in I still dig the look of.
