Breaking news from California: They'll let people into stadiums depending if the county in which that stadium resides meets the state's 2 week low rate requirements with low occupancy, no one is going to be sitting right next to each other. However places like Levi field (SF 49ers, Santa Clara County) said they aren't even going to take that chance or are ready for that. Flip that to Disneyland, it's in Orange County which currently has one of the higher infection rates. Part of that reason is lots of rich people that don't wear masks. But the rates are already high enough, opening up Disneyland...which is way smaller in general than even Magic Kingdom in Disneyworld (also way more dense, not a lot of room for people to move), would probably lead to spikes. So it's county by county as far as easing restrictions, more populated the county the less likely things will be open. Side note, SeaWorld here in San Diego was able to open not as a theme park but under Zoo guidelines. Thing is only the outside animal enclosures are open, none of the rides are open, so like 1/4 of the actual park is functioning. I'm not in a rush to go back, we usually got a cold or something anyways from our quick trips (thanks to booger rails), but a controlled open with a small occupancy is probably in the near future.
