First, I don't care if you get Unicorn or MP-44. Enjoy, good on you. I think Hasbro really, really wanted to make Unicron. I think the Crowdfunding was a way to guarantee sales out if the gate. What they didn't want was overstock on this thing. They lost TRU as a high end retailer. Walmart and Target won't carry this thing, they just won't. I picked up Fort Max for $75 and Trypticon for $50 at clearance. With an Online-Only/Direct-to-Retail being the only option, Hasbro was looking at a definite possibility of overstock based on their minum run requirements. Which I'm guessing is between 15 & 20,000 units.
Lastly, I had a display idea. Build a light box of some kind to look like the sun, slightly bigger than Unicron. Display Unicron in front of it in Planet Mode. It will eclipse the sun and blind you with it's feels.
P.S. My Pre-order Deposit for Core Star is still active. There's hope to hope... hopefully.
