Peanut - Phone Flings Design
Added 2019-05-27 21:47:48 +0000 UTCFor a cool new feature we're launching this week, here's a peek at a Crush Crush girl called "Peanut". The left sketch is the awesomely talented Mur's concept, based on the old 'leaked Peanut placeholder image' from a long time ago. On the right are my revisions, to make it match Crush Crush's art style and proportions a bit better. Her design is really cute and I love the college-freshman style she has going on.

2019-05-28 11:46:10 +0000 UTCI wouldn't say that vulgar lines in and of themselves are the problem, but there could be a little more build up first. On the Peanut lines, the player def. pushes too hard out the gate. Or it make it naughty off the bat, have the girl start it, like with Wendy.

For now we are only releasing unique girls to the phone, so Fumi and the core cast won't make cross over to this feature. It is kinda similar to the phone system we have in Hush Hush though! Which will have the core girls as contacts you can chat with if you're not there in person with them ;)

2019-05-28 07:04:51 +0000 UTCI tend to avoid beta testing, so this is the first time I'm hearing of these "Phone Flings". Personally, I can handle the vulgarity and rudeness of some of the replies. Granted, I personally wouldn't reply that way to any of the girls, particularly Fumi. Changing the subject, Peanut is ridiculously adorable. I'd suggest making one of the replies "You make me want to bust a nut." *rimshot*

I did push back on some lines that didn't make it in (so you can only imagine what they're like) but I hope that we can keep our gender-neutral funny/charming feel in the text. So if anything isn't feeling right, or sticks out to be more male-skewed or as someone said "both choices make me sound like an asshole" then PLEASE let us know. I have passed on this feedback to OjiPanda, so I hope he can punch up the scripts soon. I 100% agree with what you're saying and I'm happy you piped up about it :) It's an experiment, but maybe it was skewing a little too hard on the nutaku-crowd.

2019-05-28 00:56:25 +0000 UTCI really like the idea with the new feature, but some of the choices you have for replies are very cis-alpha-male. I realize they are a bit softer in the censored version, but I want to still get the 'rewards' from the uncensored version. Would it be at all possible to rewrite them a bit? I've also talked to some other people that agree that they are a little bit over the top.
