I remember in the 90's that Takara released a PVC statue of Optimus Prime called Metalforce Optimus Prime that looked almost exactly like this (non transforming of course). This figure is the articulated transforming version of that to a tee! I think if you are into the toon to a fault look this might be the "best looking" prime available to you. I know 80's/90's me would have shit a brick if I saw this thing. It's a pity the transformation isn't as good in the upper body as it is in the legs. I love the legs! I'm in for the Takara but if I wasn't I would pick this up for the novelty of how toon it is even despite the god awful transformation.
