About The Halfling's Return:
A charming and popular tavern situated at the centre of Port, the most populous settlement of Star Island. The tavern is carved into the hillside, reminiscent of houses used by the smaller races locally. The structure has clearly been enlarged to accommodate the constant stream of visitors it now sees.
While many might stop at the Halfling’s Return as part of shore rest during trades, some visit just to drink and hear the tales you’d only find inside.“ There is something in the brew,” is a common saying for those who visit the tavern. Many have tried to guess its secret ingredient, yet no one has succeeded.
Below the tavern, connected by a warren-like tunnel in the basement, lies an ever-changing arena to challenge adventurers wanting to test their skill. For the locals this becomes a game, taking bets on the next party to cross its stony arches.
