Cez of Drăculești (process)

To my surprise, I actually hadn't done up a post for this piece yet detailing its process, so here it is now (better late than never)!
This was an illustration commissioned by the studio Fine Feathered Friends for their vampire-themed visual novel Drăculești, centered around one of their dateable characters, "Cez". Cez, as described to me, was a vampire of two forms, a feminine "flapper" form and a masculine "demon" form, and my only direction was to portray this duality in the piece as well as their femme fatale nature.
For this piece, I was mainly inspired by the works of Georges Barbier (they quite resemble a figure that would be in his illustrations) for the feminine form, and Yoshitaka Amano for the masculine form.
