For the past few months I've been doing these color drafts (so basically making a rough color sketch with a soft airbrush first) and they have been SO helpful with lighting and making color schemes! Because the airbrush makes the colors blend together, everything looks a lot more harmonious and I love it!
Tip: when making an illustration with colors like this, I don't use actual green for the leaves, this is a desaturated yellow actually! (this makes the colors look more warm and harmonious)
