May mood board, what are your wishes for Mermay?^^ +old OC sketches

I've been busy with Mermay prep and then also packing up all the rewards so I'm sorry for not posting as much!
Here is my mood board for Mermay/ May! For what I have done so far this year, I tried sticking to a rough color scheme (like you saw in one of my last posts) and it has been really helpful with making them look more cohesive! I've also just been in love with pinks and blues hehe!
The sketches you see here were something I did before Mermay, I found an old OC of mine, Aquamarina (not very original, sorry lol) and tried to reimagine her in my new style as well as try expressions she would make etc and I really want to draw a finished version of her maybe as a character sheet and sticker!^^
Now I need your help!
What kind of content do you want to see from me in the upcoming month? What would be most helpful to you?
I have planned to make a video about the process behind designing and ordering the pin I made for the May rewards but Mermay is such a great opportunity for content, would you like sketches, coloring pages, wallpapers, step by steps, what kind of tutorial would be helpful?

And all the pretty pictures! That’s a good idea to have an overall theme! And Aquamarina sounds so cute! And I really love the name!

2021-04-28 11:55:37 +0000 UTCWow, the sketches look really cute! Also, I think Mermay is a great opportunity to how to step by step water effect or in general mermaid in water or even their tail. Maybe even a sea shell because your look so real and cool, just throwing out some ideas. :)

Mermay is such amazing and colorful and beautiful event I so much wish that one day in the future my skills will be sufficient enough to be able to participate. My anatomy skills are literally at zero and I didn't had much time last year to practice :(. Regarding the content I can't wait to see the pin process! I am going to make my first pin, already saved some manus but I didn't got to file prep and all the stuff 🙈 I think Mermay would be great opportunity to see maybe some process of coloring, lighting and shading? It's such a specific theme with lots of magical light and water effects. It could be nice to use this opportunity to see/study how to shade and do highlights
