Added 2019-11-05 01:20:27 +0000 UTCI was chatting a bit on a private chat about stories in general when the other guy sends me a selfie and asks me to write a story. He looked perhaps 30, with a full beard, looking slightly discontent. The photo was taken outdoors in some sort of park. Right away I got the idea of someone walking around where there had been a circus or similar. All green and lovely, but not what he was looking for. From there spawned the idea of the carnival act fortune teller who turned someone into what the photo depicted, and this story fell out.
