Also, in reference to watching the Clix video and saying it’s horrendous to watch. I was once a Fortnite sweaty boy and I can tell you, Fortnite is 98% MECHANICAL skill. WoW pvp mechanics is literally just have the right macros and keybinds, the rest of the skill ceiling is completely KNOWLEDGE skill. Imagine being a 0 Hour WoW player and watching Pikaboo play Rogue in a Solo Shuffle and hearing him go “Step Kidney Blind Symbols Step Kick Cheap Double Cheap Evis”. You quite literally can’t even see the enemies he his hitting, much less know what he is hitting them with. If you guys played Fortnite for 1 month straight, you would be able to comprehend every single bit of high end Fortnite gameplay. Because it’s not the knowledge of the game that is the ceiling, it’s just the execution. PvP combat games are at best when your raw mechanical skill and reactions are your ticket to win, not an encyclopedia in your head to know exactly how to win.

WoW just isn’t designed for PvP. Tab targeting is the worst archetype for any type of unpredictable player combat. So much so that it is legitimately unplayable without 3rd party addons telling you what’s happening, literally verbally reading out what buttons are pushed. In 2004 it was nowhere near as complicated, as well as there were so few replacements as a PvP game. But now people understand what good PvP is and what a good game needs to encompass to be exciting to fight other players as well as being comprehensive to learn. WoW is soooo outdated in its PvP aspect, people need to understand it’s just not in its design.

I was a pvper until DF when my pvp friends quit. If LFG system was better I'd continue to play but it's bad
