New idea: PLOT RACE!

Hi everyone, it's a bit of time that I have this idea in mind and I want to share it with you, to hear your comments about it.

You know that the plots of my stories are part made by me, but most of them are commissioned works, that means that customers tells me what I have to do, about plot, characters and everything, and they pay for it.

Since this is my job, I have to focus on these commissions because I get paid to do them, and leave my personal projects aside for some time, and choose carefully which one do among the commissioned works.

So, I'm trying to find a way to create a "grey line" between commissions and the stories I would like to do.

If I'll show you the list of stories I would like to do, and believe me they are many, including all the important details, about main plot, characters and main scenes, so you could check them out and then decide IF, and I repeat IF, you want to make an offer for them.

Let me explain it better: you check my stories ideas, and you really like one of them, how much you would like to throw to see it realized? 25 euros? 50 euros? 100 euros? The choice is totally up to you. At this point there will be a "plot race", and I will write down all the offers that I will get for the plot list I gave.

When the deadline comes, I will see which one got more offers, and then I will proceed by making the story that won. It's not mandatory to make big offers, I was thinking about a minimum offer of 25 euros, but it's obvious that if you make a higher offer it will be easier that the story you choose will win and be realized. Or maybe will win the story that got many small offers, you know that unity is strength.

All the offers will be just virtual until the plot race is over. Once the deadline is reached, only at that point I will start to gather the money for the winning story, all the offers for the stories that didn't win the race won't be gathered. But I will ask to the customer if he/she'll want to keep that offer for the next plot race, because after the winning story will be done, this process will be done again with the other stories and maybe also with the others that will be added to the list.

One last thing: customers will be able to make SMALL requests or changings to the stories I'm gonna give. This include things that won't change the main plot or the important details of it. If you want a character to wear gloves, or be blonde or to have a specific kind of scene among the others, if the thing isn't too complicated to do and it won't change much the main storyline, I will be glad to do it.

If the request will change too much or it will be too complicated to do, at that point the story would be a real commission, with the customer asking what to do, but then the price will be like a standard commission. But please, if you have some requests about the plots I'm gonna give, try to ask! The worst thing that could happen is getting a negative answer or maybe a suggestion to make it easier for me, I think that I'm pretty open minded and I always try to find an agreement to make everybody happy.

So, what do you think about this? I'm not gonna send any of these plots I have in my list now, this post is just to ask if you like this or not. If the answer will be positive, then I will try it! Other than the poll here, please add some comments with your thoughts about this!

Also remember that if you don't wanna join this "plot race", it won't change much for you, since you'll always get the monthly rewards, as usual.
