Yeah, this is getting nuts and deserves it's own post.

What you're looking at is a simple chart comparing how many words I speak in each of the video essays. TM-TM is in blue, and currently sits in second place. It is not finished. Within the next couple weeks, it's likely to become the longest script I've written. If I said that to myself back in December, I'd probably kick present me in the balls... really, REALLY hard.

Does that mean it's going to beat out SoV as the longest vid? I don't know. Nuclear Sideshows is only six minutes longer than SoMC, yet look at the massive difference in word count. I can guarantee this upcoming vid will be significantly faster paced than something like SoV, so we'll find out when we get there. Personally I'd prefer it weren't quite that long (hour+), but it'll become what it becomes.

Something else to note, however, is how long these scripts take to write. Normally I'm a fairly slow, meticulous writer. Trapezoid from a Magazine took me about a month to write, while Scale of Volcanoes took me a collective six months. The script for TM-TM has been really churning it's way out, though. I've only been working on it for just over two months now, and it's already a monster. My motivation has just been through the roof with this one, I guess.

If nothing else, than I suppose this post serves to answer the question of whether or not I scrutinize the scale of my own videos. The answer is yes, yes I do.

Word cull, lol? Like hacking out words I don't like? I've probably cut out like a dozen unnecessary "thats", so maybe I'm on a bit of a killing spree.

Call me a pig, cause my nose is in the content trough πŸ₯΅ fr though I feel so spoilt to read the extended goodies coming my way. How's the word cull coming along?
