The Agatha reveal was sooo good, I had never heard of her character before so all of that was new to me!
And that's wild about Monica Rambeau!

I didn't know that was a nickname for the Devil, good catch!
I also didn't know any of that about Monica Rambeau!

If you notice, Agatha's bunny is call "Senor Scratchy" and one of the old school nicknames for the Devil is "Mr. Scratch."
In the comics, Monica Rambeau was the first female Captain Marvel. Carol Danvers was Ms. Marvel when she first came on the scene and took her name from Captain Marvel (who was Mar-Vell and was male). After he died (and Carol came out of the coma that Rogue had put her in from holding onto her for too long, which is why Rogue could fly and had super-strength) she took up the name Captain Marvel. Monica had changed her name. She'd gone by a few names like "Photon" (her mom's callsign) and "Spectrum." Not sure what she's called now haven't read comics in a long time, although I do have some that I want to get to, like "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow" which the new Supergirl movie is based on. And also, I have the whole "Invincible" Compendium, but wasn't sure if I should read it before the Amazon series is over or not.

So in all of Wanda's convoluted and contradictory history in the comics, Agatha Harkness has been a a character of varying significance over time. I think when she was introduced as Agnes in this show, some people had their suspicions, even if it was unclear how or why or if she was truly Agatha. I suspect no one saw the catchy theme song reveal coming though.
And speaking of convoluted and contradictory comic history, the name Captain Marvel wasn't always associated with Carol Danvers (or Marvel Comics). There was a time in 80s when the hero calling themselves Captain Marvel was none other than...Monica Rambeau. She's gone by different names over the years, but the minute she showed up in the Captain Marvel movie, it was a question on how she was going to get powers. And here we are.

The writing, acting and set design of this show are all individually mind-blowing. They absolutely NAILED every era of sitcoms whilst at the same time telling those stories with modern sensibilities; all while serving as a character study that rises above ALL of that. My latin is terrible, but, "Cogito ergo sum" is what I'm trying to say, I think.
Every re-watch of this show feels more profound than the last. Anyhow, I'm ending this comment before I end up inadvertently spoiling something.
