So, in this galaxy, our galaxy, on our planet... You might hear a song on the radio, thumping out of cars as they drive past, featured in TV shows, or films... When a song is popular, it's flippin' everywhere! You might be too young, but at one time, "Livin’ la Vida Loca" was something one just could not avoid 🤣. Pick any song, in any era, and remember how it was just, nearly, annoyingly ever-present. Okay, got your song in mind? Now, let's travel to a galaxy far, far away... A long time ago... Same thing. You hear a song every where. It's so popular, everyone plays it. This actually works beautifully in a TV show perhaps trying to save budget $$ wherever it can. Compose, perform, and record a 3-4 minute song, and play parts of it here and there during the series. But it's the same song, you can tell. In a galaxy-wide society, a popular song plays almost constantly, and you hardly notice it, but... It's there. It's everywhere. And it's a banger! It's called, in universe, "Niamos! (Morlana Club Mix)" And it's great!

All of the characters deaths were sad, but Nemik's was heartbreaking.

Just when you thought they were safe on the ship and out, Nemik gets crushed. RIP young man. If you're looking down on Cassian, you'll be proud of him before you meet him again. RIP Taramyn and Lt. Gorn as well. The next episode is a bit of a stand-alone one. Then Episodes 8-10 constitute an arc, and finally Episodes 11-12 for the final arc of the season. We're still a ways away from it, but just in case nobody's mentioned it, there is a brief post-credits scene after Episode 12.

“They don't care enough to learn. They don't have to. You mean nothing to them.” Halfway through S1. “Climb!” “Oh, I’m a rebel. It’s just me against everybody else.” —Arvel Skeen “Big rebel attack last night. It's all the news.”

Clay F

Keep an eye on the Ghorman subplot. It's very minor in Season 1, but very important to the formation of the Rebellion.

Nemik said, "A surprise from above is never as shocking as one from below." In a previous episode, it was brought back in the 'previously on' part at the beginning of this episode. Skeen surprised Andor 'from below' as it were. Just an example of how the writers give you everything, and nothing. Mirroring the concept that fascism gives you every clue about what it's doing, but you really must pay attention, all the time.

I've been waiting for this one!
