Hey Chandra, fun fact(s): this season was filmed during COVID 😭 and the music composer, Nicholas Britell, made the intro music for each episode slightly different. The purpose was: when all are played together, they make a harmonious full theme! There are YouTube videos where you can hear them all together, when you're done with season one. Season two started production after a long break, and Britell couldn't make it because of another contract. Brandon Roberts took over the job, and had far less time to work, so he did his best to use and enhance Britell's work. Season two does NOT have the same episode intro compositions as season one had, but they have their own take on the episodes they introduce. 🤷🏻 I love the music for both seasons, Season two is different enough that the new composer brings a different style that is warranted. (I listen to the original score often!!)

Oh joy! It's a real gift to this old man, who watched Star wars '77 in theater when I was 11. What a treat this show is. I'm happy for you!!

Just a correction from the beginning of this video, you guys kept saying the Empire was after Cassian, but it wasn't. It was corporate security for some planets, including the one Cassian grew up on, Ferrix. It's like private security for a sector of space. Syril was a security officer who went against his boss' orders to just wrap this case up because he didn't want the Empire sticking their noses in and then taking over their business. Now, because they messed up getting Cassian, Syril done EXACTLY what his boss didn't want and brought attention to the Corpos.

expanse"? oops! my crappy hands did a wobbly thing. i recently lost partial use of my left hand and arm. every so often my hand just goes off on it's own and does entirely it's own thing. bloody inconvenient! where was i? ah yes, "The Expanse", now there's a sci-fi show filled with political intrigue, action and, many physicists agree, very realistic space mechanics! would you be open to watching it at some point? also, what would be the proper method to make requests? thanks so much for sharing your reaction, apologies for my snafu and much love to you both.

4.20 bless you! honestly, that was the cutest little puppy sneeze ever, just about made my heart melt! loving your reactions to this show. i know i'll get some sh1t for it but Andor and Rogue one are, in my opinion, unequivocally the best star wars to date. on the one hand the one episode a week thing is killing me (maybe because of how Andor is structure into 3 episode arcs?) but on the other hand, given that there are, and will only ever be, just 24 episodes, i kinda like that your stretching it out. incidentally, have either of you ever seen "The

You know you've screwed up when you lose your job and the guy under you loses his job and your boss loses his job and the company you worked for loses their contract. That's a serious f-up.

When I was a kid watching the original trilogy, and all my friends were excited about Vader and Luke, i was OBSESSED with Mon Mothma.
My little gay boy self just wanted to know more. Andor is a gift to him 💅🏾

I'm so glad you were intrigued by the peek at the bureaucratic side of the Empire. I don't want to give too much away, but it's the people who are invisible to the canonical villains like the Emperor, Vader and Grand Moff Tarkin that drive this show, and it's very interesting to see the underbelly of both the Rebellion and the Empire.
We were introduced to several characters in this episode that will become a very important part of the series. You know Senator Mon Mothma. I won't say who else. You'll find out in due time.
The scenes of Aldhani were filmed in the Scottish Highlands. It was interesting that the team were pretty much all distrustful of Cassian when he was introduced to them, and for good reason, except for Nemik. He welcomed Cassian and later said he could feel that Cassian was committed to the cause, and that was all he needed to know. Ironic, because while Cassian will eventually become totally committed to the Rebellion, at this point he's exactly what Vel believes he is: a mercenary.
I'm happy you are really liking this show. It just keeps getting better and better. There's not a single dud episode in the whole series. So, enjoy!

I like that this show isn't scared of the "Future 70s" look like the prequels were. It feels very aesthetically cohesive with the original trilogy.
