This was another great chapter and the double meaning in the title was perfect for the two "cat fights" Peter had to deal with 😂. The situation with Gwen/Wanda seems like it get worse before it gets better lol. Good on Wanda for calling out Gwen's attitude problem and Gwen is definitely jealous for someone who doesn't want to be involved with Peter romantically. I wonder how he'll deal with this new issue next chapter with Gwen 😂

2025-09-22 12:59:55 +0000 UTCPeter better think of something fast, the Gwen situation has the potential to get really messy. Like the potential addition of Wanda to Peter's circle. Even though the other girls (Liz and MJ) can sort of see through his BS ( their EQ is remarkable and Peter has always been more of an IQ kind of guy) only Wanda can get a sort of complete picture. Peter's not looking for love or romance but it's finding him regardless, and he's not trying very hard to fight it. Bro will cave eventually but it will take a village 😅 Huh, from what I've read so far why do i get the feeling that Peter rather than coulson will be the catalyst for the formation of the Avengers? Sue's active but no fantastic 4, no defenders, no real super teams that we know of yet. Peter will try to stick to the neighborhood angle but the first world ending threat that happens he won't be able to help himself and with his current mentality he'll try to go it alone. He'll either fail and get hurt quite badly or he'll successfully achieve delaying action and be badly hurt, buying the earth time before the threat comes back. My money is on Peter being a semi reluctant pseudo founding member (Batman vibes on justice league) and someone like Sue Storm being the unofficial 'leader' or Shepard for this particular group of cats. Meh just speculation and guessing on my part at this point. Can't wait to see where it goes. Also, is the plan still to give MJ and Liz powers? Or is that something you are still only considering. Both have powered variants so it's not too far fetched (though personally I could do without jackpot or agent venom MJ, something about those ones rubs me the wrong way for some reason).
