Day 24 of 31 Days of Horror - Vampirella
Added 2022-10-26 18:19:51 +0000 UTCWhen i was a kid around 11 or 12yo i had a friend who was really into comics. Like plastic sleeves, white boxes the whole thing. And one weekend when i was staying over at his house his mom brought us to a comic book shoo so he could buy some new comics. His mom said, “Albert, you can get one too. Just pick one you like” i wasnt into comics at all but decided to take a look. I was like, i’m just not into this stuff. Then a demon hand arose from the ground and in a puff of smoke and fire and shined a light on..Vampirella (dolly zoom in on the comic). I was in love! What? This is a comic??! And my friend said “oh yeah, horror comics. Im not into those” I thought, well, i think i am now! I brought it up thinking no way his mom is going to buy it for me. But she did. And i still have it. Will post it in my story as well.
And yeah, it was made into a movie in 1996 but its not great.

I know right?! I have been waiting for this day myself. I guess as the famous adage goes, if you want something done right, do it yourself...and then share it with friends.
